Nurse with more than 10 years of experience, passionate about neuroscience and with training and experience in administration and finance. Throughout her career she has specialized in the pedagogical approach of nature education schools and other active methodologies that are supported by the latest advances in neuroscience. For more than 8 years, she has explored and promoted the comprehensive benefits of this pedagogical model, developing a holistic and sustainable educational approach.
Career and Achievements
- Co-founder and director of the first accredited school in the Canary Islands with this pedagogical approach in early childhood and primary education.
- Co-director and University Lecturer: She plays the role of co-director, manager and lecturer of the postgraduate and advanced courses in nature education at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The purpose of these programs is to guide future professionals to broaden their perspective towards this pedagogical approach.
- Innovation in Projects: He has led initiatives such as the project “Naturalizing educational centers”, aimed at management teams and teachers of public schools in Gran Canaria, with the aim of transforming the way in which schools incorporate nature into school life.
- Participation in Events and Conferences: Organizes and participates in training and talks at national and international level, sharing knowledge and experience in this field.
