José Guzmán, co-founder and head of studies at our school, is a committed teacher with over 15 years of experience whose dedication and passion have been, and are, fundamental to our community. A specialist in Nature Education and co-founder of the Spanish Federation of Nature Education (EDNA), Jose has been a pillar in promoting innovative educational practices that integrate nature into daily learning.


Career and Achievements


  • University Professor: professor in the postgraduate course “University Expert in Nature Education” at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, guiding other professionals in this transformative approach.
  • Innovative Projects: co-director and advisor on initiatives such as the project “Naturalizing educational centers”, aimed at management teams and teachers of public schools in Gran Canaria, with the aim of transforming the way in which schools incorporate nature into school life.
  • Advice and Continuing Education: he is co-director and trainer of the “Outdoor Childhood” course, and has collaborated in conferences and talks organized by the ULPG.
  • Creativity and Educational Resources: creator of innovative proposals for approaching living reading and writing, in addition to developing educational materials and resources with natural elements.


A lover of nature and narrative creativity, committed to his work, he not only inspires children, but also transforms the way in which teachers perceive and accompany students.
